On October 5th, 2009 the Jan Cohen Memorial Foundation's inaugural golf outing was held at North Shore Country Club in Glen Head, NY. A portion of the proceeds from the outing will be donated to the Tranquillity Alumni.

The weather could not have been better and fields of green and skies so blue took on a whole different perspective from LI.

Included in the 22 foursomes that putted around on the greens were Tranquillity-ites such as Richie Lerner, Alan Abramson, Paul Cohen, Jeff Garfield, Andy Miller, Marc Cohn, Melanie Cohn, Cory Menscher, Jack Senzon, Glen Faber, Howie Fiorella, Alan Newmark, Andrew Gonzinsky, Bruce Budkofsky, Sharon (Solomon) Wolff, Jay Wolff & Cary Speigel.

Volunteeers included Robin (Cohen) Gozinsky, Stacy (Cohen) Budkofsky, Cari Cohen, David Cohen, Arthur Cohen, Robin Newmark & Ronnie Cohen.

After golf, an amazing cocktail hour and dinner was enjoyed by all the golfers and few other dinner guests such as Amy and Alice Abramson, Ellen Cohn Menscher and Harold Weinman.

Generous prizes were presented to golfers with the longest drives, the two best foursomes. Fabulous raffle prizes, silent and live auctions and a 50/50 raffle were some other highlights of the evening.

The 2nd annual golf outing will again be held at the North Shore Country Club on October 4, 2010. Save the date!! We hope you will join us.
